According to the wikipedia rambha.Rambha started her career with the – 1990 Kannada movie Server Somanna opposite Jaggesh. The same year she acted in a Malayalam film Sargam opposite Vineeth. She again paired up with Vineeth in Champakulam Thachan. She then entered Bollywood and was paired up with popular heroes.For the film Sargam, she has won State award, and the film received a National Award.
In 1993, she completed the movie Tholi Muddhu opposite Prashanth after its original actress Divya Bharti died of a sudden death. Her second Tamil movie Ullathai Allitha, which remains her biggest hit till date, gave her a major breakthrough in her career. It was from this movie she started doing glamour roles which instantly won her numerous fans. She even had a nickname 'Thoday azhagi' (Gorgeous Thighs ). She has had huge success in South Indian films from the mid 90s till early 2000s. People loved her glamour roles and especially her gorgeous smile in the silver screen. She also had very tough competition at that time with hugely popular heroines like Simran, Roja, Meena and Nagma. While approaching the mid 2000s Rambha stopped doing regular films as a new crop of young heroines started their reign in south Indian films.

Its her Chemistry with her Co-Star Arjun Bijlani aka Mayank that made them the Household Name today. And today apart from being Rati Pandey, she's also known as "Nupur Bhushan Sharma". Other than immense popularity and success Rati also gained a strong group of loyal fans with this show. There was a time when production house decided to end the most popular character of the show that is Nupur, to create a hype and increase the ratings. But unfortunately it didn't work and channel was bombarded with calls and letters by fans to bring the character of Nupur back in the show. The production house was left with no other option other than bringing her back. Rati was brought back within two months due to huge fan demand.
